Thanks to everyone who prayed. Nisha is doing a lot better. She is home from the hospital and is in a much better mood. Continue to pray that she will continue to heal and that it will be a quick healing. See ya, Thursday.

Pray!!

To everyone who actually still reads this thing I want to ask that you all would please pray for my sister, Nisha. She is having major skull surgery on Wednesday that will help to reshape her head. I would also appreciate your prayers for me because as long as Nisha is in ICU it will just be me, Zack, Tim , Tamara, and Fulmaya at home together and I will be in charge of everything. Thanks a lot I will update as soon as I know anything.

In Christ,

Okay a couple of weeks ago Zack's Suday School teacher read us a few useless facts that many people know anyway. Here are some of my favorites:

-On average, 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily.
-The very first bomb dropped by the Allies on Berlin during World War II killed the only elephant in the Berlin Zoo.
-There are four cars and eleven lightposts on the back of a $10 dollar bill.
-Most scorpions will glow under black (ultraviolet) light.
-Charlie Chaplin once won third prize in a Charlie Chaplin look alike contest.
-The glue on Israeli postage stamps is certified kosher.
-The first owner of the Marlboro Company died of lung cancer. (How ironic!)
-Adolf Hitler's mother seriously considered having an abortion but was talked out of it by her doctor.
-Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.
-26 (easily visible, there may be more) states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the old US $5 bill.
-A pregnant goldfish is called a twerp.

And here are some of my favorite useless laws:

-Monkeys are forbidden to smoke cigarettes in South Bend, Indiana.
-In Seattle, Washington and Kentucky residents may not carry concealed weapons longer than six feet.
-In Pacific Grove, California "molesting" butterflies can result in a $500 fine.
-In Boston, Massachusets it is illegal to take a bath unless one has been ordered by a physician to do so.
-If a child burps during a church service in Omaha, Nebraska his or her parents may be arrested.
-In Youngstown, Ohio it is illegal to run out of gas.
-In Oklahoma people who make "ugly faces" at dogs may be fined and/or jailed.
-In Morrisville, women need a permit to wear cosmetics. ( You would need a lot of permits today)
-In Texas a recently passed anticrime law requires criminals to give their victims 24 hours notice, either orally or in writing, and to explain the nature of the crime to be committed. ( There would be a lot less crimes this way)
-In most landlocked states, like Oklahoma or Kansas, it is illegal to hunt and kill whales.

This is my favorite law and it is not usesless: In Vermont it is illegal to deny the existence of God.

Prayer

Could you guys be praying for my uncle. He is killing himself because he smokes marajuana, drinks, and other things. Where not sure how much longer he will be alive and were also not sure if he is a Christian even though he supposidly accepted Christ when he was nine. If he is he has turned his back on God. I would really appreciate your prayers for him.

Life

"Only one life twill soon be past
only whats done for Christ will last"
- John Piper

That's a really good quote. Recently I read some of John Piper's book "Don't Waste Your Life" and it is really good. I've had that quote stuck in my head for a while and it has caused me to think if what I am spending all my time on is really going to have a lasting benefit. And it's shown me how much of my time I actually spend on anything that has eternal benefit. Even though everything I am doing is good is really going to last.

This was kind of quick, but leave me a comment with your thoughts please.

P.S. Winter Jam was last Friday and it was great!! Toby Mac was defenitly the best, but I really like the Newsboys too. I have some pictures that I am going to try to post soon so keep looking at my photo blog. For more stuff on Winter Jam go check Rachel's blog and Andrew P. xanga.

P.P.S. I have a job interview on Friday morning so if you guys could be praying that it will go well I am kind of nervous about it.

Hard Times

Like the title says I have been having a hard time lately with many things. I have been so busy lately that I don't hardly have anytime to relax at all. And the only time i get to my self is when I am doing school. Today my day just started out wrong and I had to pray that Gos would help me to go on because I could not do it by on my own. I think the main reason I am having such hard times is because I don't make a lot of time to spend with God one on one. I just keep making excuses for why I can't do it now and I know it's wrong, but I just don't really have the desire most of the time to spend time with him. One good thing that has come out of all of this is that my prayer life has gotten better. Used to I would pray everyonce in a while, but know I pray whenever God puts something on my heart that I need to pray about. The Bible says to pray without ceasing I have really been doing what that verse says a lot more recently. He has really spoken to me through this sometimes and also through songs that I have heard on the radio. If you could please pray that God would give me a desire to want to know him more and that I would spend more time with Him.

Abby

Madagascar

Cheryl's party was great and while we were there we watched Madagscar. While we were watching it we decided to try and match the characters in the movie to people at COACH that we know by their personality. I was trying to find pictures, but I couldn't.

Here's the list:

Private- Andrew H.
Kolwaski (tall one)- Stephan
Rico (boom-boom)- Dustin
Skipper- Andrew P.
Old Woman- Jordan S.
Mr. Chew- Katrina
King Julian 13th- Tucker
Maurice (Sidekick)- Ashley
Gloria- Juju
Melman (germ freak)- John
Marty- Thomas
Alex- Derek H.
Monkeys (George and Phil)- Hannah and Heather
Iguanna- Dinah
Baby Lemur ("I'm a steak! ME! Me! Me!")- Rachel H.

What do you think? Need to change any?
